As for the chicken it cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. I did a dry rub and cooked it on my stone baking sheet in the oven. The chicken had a freshness to it even though it had been frozen.

My first order from Long Lane Farms and I couldn't be more pleased, both with the product and the service. I prepared the chicken very simply with only some salt, pepper and garlic powder inside and out plus a cut up celery stick on the inside and pats of butter under the skin on the breast and on the inside. The roasted chicken turned out perfect - very tender, moist and flavourful... despite having cooked it a bit longer than needed. Thank you for all the work you do to provide the community with healthy, nutritious, pasture-raised meats.
The chicken was delicious, I simply roasted it with fresh rosemary and garlic and made a pan gravy with the drippings. The chicken was juicy and tender and the gravy was delectable. One of the best roast chicken I’ve ever eaten.
